Red Bull signed Gianluigi Donnarumma in April 2021 as the first football player in the brand's history.

They came to us to make a short film that would tell his story. Working with Collater.al Studio, we combined animation and live-action to make a fun and uplifting film that mirrored our protagonist's personality.

Gianluigi, known as Gigio, despite his young age, is already known as one of the best goalkeepers in the world, having broken several records, including being the youngest goalkeeper to debut in Italy's Serie A and having won a European cup playing for Italy. In this film, we take a step back and learn about his upbringing and the journey that led him to become a footballing legend.
