Red Bull signed Gianluigi Donnarumma, in April 2021  as the first football player in the brand's history.

They came to us to make a short film that would tell his story so far. 

Working with Collater.al Studio we combined animation and live action to make a fun and uplifting film that mirrored our protagonist's personality.

Gianluigi known as Gigio, despite his young age, is already known as one of the best goal keepers in the world, having broken a number of records, including being the youngest goal keeper to debut in Italy's Serie A, and having won a European cup playing for Italy. 

In this film we take a step back and learn about his upbringing and the journey that led him to becoming a footballing legend.
